My music preferences have changed over the years, but one artist has always had me seeking their latest album and that is ‘Sting’. I particularly like the 2013 album ‘the last ship’, as it goes far outside the boundaries of mainstream or chart music and it may not be to everybody’s taste, but the story and honesty of the songs somehow resonates strongly with me. Sting always has a fantastic drummer, check out the drumming on ‘if you cant love me’ song 8 on the 2016 album 57th and 9th…..amazing.
